Corrections Policy

We get things wrong sometimes. Here is what we do about it.

• When we find an error in a published test — ours or a reader-reported one we can verify against our logs — we correct the page, note what changed and when at the bottom of the page, and correct every summary table that repeated the claim.
• Example from our own first week: an early run report said a Kling export had no watermark. Our frame-by-frame re-check found a “KlingAI 4.0” watermark in the corner. We corrected the log, the comparison table, and the verdict the same day (2026-10-23). That is the standard we hold every correction to.

Correction log

• 2026-10-29 — HeyGen affiliate terms (Affiliate Honesty). Our verification of HeyGen’s program page on 2026-10-19 recorded 35% on Creator & Team plans for the first 3 months only, a $30 payout minimum, and a 60-day hold. Re-verified live during our application on October 29, 2026, the terms are different: a tiered recurring rate — 20% Base (under 100 conversions), 25% Growth (100–299), 30% Top (300+) — for the first 6 months of a referral, a 30-day tracking window, monthly payouts in the first 3 days of the month, a $100 payout minimum, and a 60-day verification, paid via PayPal. We updated the Affiliate Honesty table and its stale-figures note the same day; the figures published there are the ones verified on October 29, 2026.
